We invite you to send a team to the Summer Institute on Experiential Education on the island of Martha’s Vineyard to develop strategies that strengthen your campus’s efforts to promote learning outside and inside the traditional classroom through a range of activities. These may include cooperative education, service-learning, faculty/undergraduate research, community-based research, study abroad, academic internships, student leadership development, and other related programs.

The Center for Experiential Education and Academic Advising (CEA) is a special unit within Arts and Sciences dedicated to promoting experiential learning programs and enabling professionals to incorporate experiential learning into their curricula. Since the College of Arts and Sciences started concentrating on experiential education, applicants to the College have doubled to 12,000.
