APPLICATION

PART 1

To apply to the Institute, please complete the application and mail or fax it along with a narrative that answers the questions listed below. Your narrative should be concise, no more than a page or two, double spaced.

Space is limited so please let us know of your interest as early as possible. We are limited roughly to the equivalent of eight teams.

Questions to address in your narrative:

  • Current experiential program(s): Brief description
  • Opportunities for change: What do you see as the most important opportunity for change to advance experiential education at your school?
  • Barriers: What are the one or two most significant barriers to realizing this opportunity at your school?

PART 2

A follow-up phone call will be scheduled for discussing your participation in the Institute.

COST

The cost of $2,150 per person includes the option of a pre-Institute site visit by a faculty member to your school (in North America); lodging for four nights; tuition; a team facilitator; consultation with Institute faculty; most meals (continental breakfasts, lunches, opening night cookout, a New England clambake); and a post-Institute phone consultation.

A $300 nonrefundable deposit is required per person prior to the pre-Institute site visit. The deposit will be applied to your registration fee. All registrations are nonrefundable but can be transferred to other members of your institution.
