Faculty Fellows

"Faculty Fellows" is an annual curricular development program for faculty composed of faculty. Each Faculty Fellow concentrates on a project that integrates experiential education into a particular curriculum. Areas that participants have focused upon include classroom/co-op integration, academic service-learning, undergraduate research, academic internships, international studies, and artistic performance. Examples of projects include integrating foreign language instruction with community service, and developing a "cyber-lounge" that will "provide a mechanism for students to reflect upon their co-op experiences while they are on the job (via threaded discussion)."

Faculty Fellows for this year will be focused primarily on co-op/academic integration. In particular, they will be developing a resource guide for faculty that will contain strategies and approaches for classroom and co-op learning activities. A draft of the Faculty Fellow's Co-op Integration Resource Guide is available online.
